This photo was taken by Steve Mann, 2018 December 18th, and depicts a Sequential Wave Imprinting Machine (SWIM) applied to trochography, the imaging of wheels, and in particular, making visible the otherwise invisible rotating magnetic field of a 3 phase motor.
